Privacy Policy

Effective July 3, 2026

1. Who we are & scope

This directory ("the Directory," "we," "us") publishes information about private-aviation service providers in Florida. We do not operate aircraft, sell charter, or broker flights. This Policy covers personal information collected through the Directory website and its forms. It does not cover the practices of listed businesses or other sites we link to.

2. No user accounts

The Directory has no sign-in and no user registration. We never ask you to create a password, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.

3. What we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us, plus minimal technical data needed to run the site:

  • Handling & fuel request forms — contact details, tail number, trip dates, forwarded to the FBO you selected.
  • Newsletter signup — your email address.
  • Listing, correction & advertising inquiries — business contact details.
  • Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested, timestamps) retained briefly for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.
  • Privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (page views, referrers). No cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies, no sale of data.

4. Cookies & local storage

We use no third-party advertising or tracking cookies. "Saved" and "Compare" selections, and tool preferences (e.g., calculator inputs), are stored only in your own browser's local storage — they never leave your device and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data removes them.

5. How we use information

To route your service requests to the provider you chose, send the newsletter you asked for, respond to inquiries, verify and correct listings, protect the site against fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it to train advertising profiles.

6. Advertising & sponsored listings

Revenue comes from clearly labeled sponsored and featured listings and display placements sold directly to aviation businesses. Advertisers receive aggregate performance numbers only — never your identity, contact details, or inquiry contents.

7. Sharing & disclosure

We share personal information only:

  • With the provider you selected, when you submit a request form addressed to them.
  • With infrastructure vendors (hosting, email delivery, form processing) acting under contract as service providers, prohibited from using it for their own purposes.
  • When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the Directory, its users, or others.
  • In a merger, acquisition, or asset sale — in which case this Policy continues to apply to previously collected data.

8. Retention & security

Inquiries are kept only as long as needed to handle them and for a limited period afterward for record-keeping and dispute resolution; newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe; server logs are rotated on a short cycle. Transport encryption (HTTPS) is enforced site-wide; access to inquiry data is limited to Directory staff on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure — if a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing — including under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, the California CCPA/CPRA, and similar state laws. Email the address below; we will verify your request and respond within the time required by law (no more than 45 days). We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights. We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because we do not track users across sites in the first place.

10. Children

The Directory is a business-to-business service not directed to children under 13 (or under 18 for Florida DBOR purposes), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International visitors

The Directory is operated from the United States and directed at U.S. users. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand your information is processed in the U.S.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy; the effective date above will change, and material changes will be flagged on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Policy.

13. Contact

[email protected]. We answer within 30 days.
